“Helena Mumford and her team have proved a valuable asset to me when navigating my way through the unchartered territories of a marriage break up, the sale of several properties and also a series of business difficulties. I found their advice to be sound and user friendly. Helena’s ability to assimilate substantial quantities of information in a short space of time proved cost effective and the whole team have always treated me with courtesy and compassion. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.”

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology in 1988 and has over 2 decades experience in the legal industry. He has been providing legal services in residential and commercial conveyancing, including off the plan contracts, property law, commercial leasing and retirement villages. An expert in the culinary skill of chocolate brownie baking (to which many clients can attest) in his spare time he can be found drawing, sculpting or whittling a piece of wood (Australian timbers of course). In 1990 Andrew was approached by the Queensland University of Technology and commissioned to create a bronze bust of the then Dean of the Law School, Professor Tom Cain. OUR COST POLICY

We put our clients in control.

Laurier Lawyers provides full disclosure up front about the different stages of your matter and the likely costs involved. Regular interim accounts are sent with the next steps and likely estimated costs of those next steps explained.

We use case management techniques, detailed planning and defined legal products so that our clients are totally clear on what we will do, when and at what cost. To be better than our competition we need to consistently exceed our clients’ expectations. This means being easy to deal with and having accessible professionals who communicate effectively at all levels.

We believe that even the most complex, one-off piece of specialist work is capable of being planned and budgeted. Our contract with our clients means we are under an obligation to:

• keep the client up to date on costs
• compare how much has been spent against budget
• obtain the client’s agreement before exceeding the budget.

Ask us if we are able to provide a fixed fee for the job. Often we can.

We are also able to offer different funding solutions for you if funds aren’t immediately available to pay legal fees.
